JOG Receives $4M DOL Grant to Serve Akron’s Most In Need Youth
[Akron, OH]: Tri-County Jobs for Ohio’s Graduates (JOG), along with Youth Opportunities Unlimited (YOU) and Center of Workforce Innovations (CWI), has been awarded $4,000,000 from the U.S. Department of Labor to help prepare young people for the workplace in Akron and Cleveland, Ohio and Gary, Indiana.

Jobs for Ohio’s Graduates Raises Over $10,000 at First Ever Golf Outing
[Medina, OH] – On Monday, August 21, Jobs for Ohio’s Graduates (JOG) hosted their first golf outing at Bunker Hill Golf Course, raising over $10,000 to support their programming. The event had an 18-team shotgun start along with a putting contest, 50/50 raffle, ball drop event, and additional ways to support the organization. [Ashland, OH] - Jobs for Ohio’s Graduates (JOG), in partnership with Ashland County Jobs and Family Services, is bringing in-school and out-of-school workforce development education programming for youth ages 14-24 to Ashland County! Some of the topics covered include: employability skill development, GED assistance, leadership development, work experience programs and job linkage, to name a few.

Medina County Jobs for Ohio’s Graduates Moving Locations
[Medina, OH] – Since 1987, Jobs for Ohio’s Graduates (JOG), an affiliate of the nationwide Jobs for America’s Graduates (JAG) organization, has helped youth with multiple barriers to success complete their education and successfully transition to employment at a livable wage or post-secondary job training. Some of these provided services include: employability skill development, HSE assistance, leadership development, work experience programs and job linkage to name a few. These services are set to continue in an even bigger location, now at: 3637 Medina Rd. Suite 85 Medina, OH 44256. This new location allows more space for students to take classes virtually, interact with JOG staff, engage in various workshops/activities and enjoy a quiet space to do homework.
