JOG the Web: Leadership Development Conference

It’s something you build, one conversation, one challenge, and one brave step at a time. That’s exactly what the Jobs for Ohio’s Graduates (JOG) Leadership Development Conference (LDC) is all about, and it’s where Ohio’s future workforce gets its start!
What Is the LDC?
The LDC is a one-of-a-kind conference created just for JOG young adults. Hosted at the John S. Knight Center, the day brings together experts who mentor and drive Ohio’s young people toward success. Through a series of workshops and sessions, participants explore leadership from different perspectives, from leading in the classroom and on the job to leading in their communities and in their own lives.
The day wraps up with an awards luncheon celebrating the people who bring JOG’s mission to life. We honor our Student Leaders of the Year, our Community Leader of the Year, and our Staff Impact Award winner. It’s a powerful reminder of what’s possible when students, staff, and community partners work together.
Many of the young people we serve face multiple barriers. For some, the LDC is the first time they’ve attended a professional event, shaken hands with a business leader, or heard someone say out loud that they have what it takes to lead. Those moments stick. Participants leave the LDC with confidence, a clearer vision for their future, and the belief that their voice matters.
