JOG the Web: Graduation Season 2025-2026

As we wrap up another incredible school year, we’re taking a moment to celebrate what our participants accomplished across Summit, Stark, Medina, Ashland, and Trumbull counties. From classroom breakthroughs to landing first jobs, this year has been filled with real growth and real wins!

A School Year in Review

Hundreds of participants walked through our doors this year. Whether they were just starting their JOG journey, or celebrating months of progress, each brought their own story and their own determination to build something better.

Our in-school programs delivered alongside regular classes. Participants explored career pathways, built work-ready skills, and discovered what success looks like when you’re building toward a real future. Soft skills like professional confidence, public speaking, financial literacy, and teamwork have set these young adults up for success at work, at home, and in their future endeavors!

For our nontraditional participants, JOG remained a steady place to land. We celebrated students who re-engaged with their education, we celebrated their wins, we amplified their voices, helped them find their footing in the real world and find professional motivation and skills they’d been missing. They got to start seeing themselves as someone with options.

Our work experience programming delivered exactly what it’s designed to do. Young people stepped into actual jobs, earned real wages, and learned what it feels like to be part of a professional team. Employers across our five-county region opened doors and built relationships with our participants. Those connections turn into real-world opportunities.

Graduations are happening. Some participants are heading to college. Others are starting jobs with benefits and growth potential. Some are pursuing training programs aligned with their skills and dreams.

So, what’s next for these outstanding young adults? Our 12-month follow-up support stays in place, and Career Specialists keep in touch. Applied career success isn’t built in a classroom alone. It’s built through relationships, through persistence, through people who refuse to let barriers get in the way.

Here’s to the class of 2026. Your story isn’t ending. It’s just getting started!
