Jobs for Ohio’s Graduates Expands with New Medina Location

[Medina, OH] – Since 1987, Jobs for Ohio’s Graduates (JOG), an affiliate of the nationwide Jobs for America’s Graduates (JAG) organization, has helped young adults with multiple barriers to success complete their education and successfully transition to employment at a livable wage or postsecondary job training. JOG provides services such as employability skill development, GED assistance, leadership training, work experience programs and job connections, to name a few.
These services are set to continue in a new, more central location at 453 West Liberty Street, Medina, OH 44256. The new space allows room for students to attend virtual classes, participate in tutoring sessions, engage with JOG staff, take part in workshops and activities, and enjoy a quiet area for completing homework.
When asked about how the new location will support JOG participants in achieving success, Cheryl Mason, Medina County Manager at JOG, said, “The new location makes the JOG staff more accessible to the young people that we serve and allows us to provide more services to the youth and their families, thus helping them be more successful.”
The new location is officially open for services. JOG will be hosting a ribbon-cutting ceremony and open house, taking place on November 12th. Please call (330) 725-2919 to RSVP for the event.
