Brian J. Williams

Mr. Williams grew up in Summit County and graduated from Firestone High School. Following in the family tradition, he pursued a career in education. He attended Ashland University for his undergraduate degree and immediately returned to the University of Akron where he earned his Master’s Degree in Educational Administration. For the past 30 years, Mr. Williams has enjoyed a successful career in education, 26 of those years as an administrator. Mr. Williams is currently the Assistant Superintendent for the Copley-Fairlawn City Schools.

Mr. Williams was first introduced to JOG in the early nineties when he served as a job specialist at Central-Hower High School. One of his fondest memories of JOG was motivating his students to bring in canned food for the annual JOG food drive and winning the first ever “Shoe” award. The award was given to the school who collects the most food for the less fortunate. Mr. Williams has served on the board of directors for over ten years with three of those years as the board chairman.
